Levante are the second club of Valencia, playing in the Spanish second division, lost in the shadow of their more illustrious city rivals. This is reflected in their modest stadium. However, though the exterior may appear ramshackle, the inside is a bright, colourful home.

I was afforded extremely generous hospitality and courtesy by the clubs head of PR on this chance visit, including a tour of the trophy room, player lounge and club chapel. It is this sort of friendship i encounter on some of my visits which makes Stadia.org.uk all the more worthwhile.
