Wales v Japan

So-so on the outside, sensational within, the Millenium Stadium is a fitting tribute to Welsh rugby and its glorious past. And as for the present, this cathedral of rugby is host to the beautiful vocal tones of 72,500 proud and loud Welsh folk on match day. Attendences have been to capacity for the recent Rugby World Cup 1999, and will continue to stay this high for forthcoming 'Six Nations' international matches.

There are rumours that the Welsh National football team will play their future internationals here, though nothing is official yet. With such a jewel from the world of stadia within our realm, and others such as Murreyfield and Twickenham for company, recent ticket fiascos in footballs World Cup could be alleviated with these stadia included in Englands 2006 World Cup bid. Sure, it would thus become a British bid, but this same attitude hasn't detracted from the current Rugby World Cup, has it?
